The Napa Valley is one of the most renowned wine-growing regions in the world. This 25-mile valley, flanked by Sonoma County to the west and Yolo County to the east, is only a mile wide in the north and expands to five miles wide in the south where it meets San Pablo Bay. The Valley consists of six towns with a total population of 115,000. Aside from these urbanized areas, the floor of the valley is covered almost exclusively by its famous vineyards. Starting at the northern end of the valley is Calistoga, moving south to Saint Helena, Rutherford, Oakville and Yountville. At the Valley’s southern tip is the largest city of Napa.

According to the Napa County Destination Strategy Project, over 4.9 million visitors traveled to Napa Valley last year, spending over one billion dollars while they were here.
